The purpose of this form is to set forth in writing the beneficiaries of the personal property that is important to you. In many families the arguments and disagreements are not over the larger inheritance but over who gets Grandpa’s carved rocking chair or who gets Mom and Dad’s wedding photos. Some families get together and have the children choose and work through everything before hand. As you update the forms, destroy the old forms and substitute the new updated forms so your safe file is always up to date.
